As an artisan and small business owner, I am grateful for my clients and invested in their satisfaction. Please read the terms below carefully before purchasing a pen or placing a custom order. Should an issue arise, you will find me to be communicative, reasonable, and as accommodating as possible.
In-Stock Pens
In-stock pens are paid for in full at the time the order is placed.
Custom Orders
Custom orders require a non-refundable payment of $50 before any work is scheduled. The remaining balance is to be paid before I begin working on your pen(s).
I’ll provide an estimated manufacture time based on my current workload. The actual manufacture time could be shorter due to changes in my workload or longer due to unexpected events such as illness, emergencies, or supply issues. Communication is important to me, and I will let you know as promptly as I’m able should the timeline change.
Custom pens are made based on details provided by the client. Requests for alterations or additions after work has begun will incur additional costs.
Before shipping your custom order, I will send thorough and detailed photographs for your final approval. Please inspect these as promptly as you are able so I can honor our agreed-upon timeline.
All custom order sales are final.
Shipping and Transit
I package my pens with the utmost care. However, I cannot take responsibility for transit times, shipping delays, or customs or tax duties. Pichevin Pens will not assume any responsibility for loss or damage that occurs while in transit.
If your order is lost or damaged in transit, please submit a report immediately for claims procedures on insured packages.
In-stock pens will generally be shipped within 2 to 3 business days after purchase.
Orders to the US will ship with USPS Priority. Shipping cost includes full insurance.
For international customers, I offer shipping via DHL Express as a faster and safer method.
Warranty
Pichevin pens are made to the highest standards of workmanship.
Orders have a 7-day warranty from the date of delivery. In the rare case of a manufacturing defect, the client may ship the pen back for review and determination of remedy. I will refund shipping costs should a problem be determined to be the responsibility of Pichevin Pens.
Any alterations or customization made after delivery will void the warranty on the pen.
Repair/Replacement
Repair or replacement costs, including shipping costs, will be incurred by the client in the case of damage or misuse. This includes nibs and converters.
For issues unrelated to normal wear and tear that occur after the 7-day warranty period has passed, Pichevin Pens will make repairs for a reasonable fee and/or replace parts at cost, as I want you to get a lifetime of enjoyment from your pen.
Nibs and converters are third-party items and will be replaced with the same model/color/size if they are found to be defective within the 7-day warranty period.
